A piece in the puzzle called the Information Technology, War and Peace Project (ITWP) out of the Watson Institute at Brown (preposition overload?), infopeace.org/911 offers deeper analysis on September 11 and its aftermath. The design went from a collage of newspaper clippings to Dreamweaver templates overnight (due to the pressing nature of the subject), and we were plugging in content within a couple days.
In December, I spearheaded a two-week installment on "bioterror," commissioning an essay by artist and theoretician Eugene Thacker, among others.
