Hampshire Halloween is always a huge all-school bash. The Halloween that I did these posters for (October 1999) was no pushover. There were over twenty minutes of fireworks, a bouncy castle, seven-or-so bands, and fifteen simultaneous parties all around campus.
I have always been a fan of Weekly World News, and a UFO makes for some sweet imagery. I drew the UFO, scanned the sketch, then traced it in Illustrator. Then I wrote the apocalyptic copy to complete the idea.
